From our lovely Millie who told us about this programme on BBC Radio 4 which explores the recent rise in popularity of public speaking here and in the US. Led by the massively popular TED talks, but also including Pecha Kucha, public speaking meetups are becoming the social events of choice to go to instead of say, the pub!

The programme also looks at how children can be taught to be good public speakers, and whether this differs between the USA, UK and the rest of the world.
